SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect

AN ACT concerning

Garrett County - Subdivision Plats - Recordation

FOR the purpose of allowing subdivision plats of specified alternative sizes to be filed
with the clerk of the court for recording among the land records of Garrett
County; and providing an exception concerning single lot plats that are suitable
for recording in the same manner as other land record instruments.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Real Property

3-108.

(h) (1) In Garrett County the size of the sheet (plat) shall be 11 BY 17
INCHES, 18 by 24 inches, OR 24 BY 36 INCHES, including a one and one-half inch
margin for binding along the left edge. When more than one sheet is required, an
index sheet of the same size shall be submitted showing the entire subdivision drawn
to scale.

(2) THIS SUBSECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO SINGLE LOT PLATS SUITABLE FOR
RECORDING IN THE SAME MANNER AS OTHER LAND RECORD INSTRUMENTS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1999.
