AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of:

- clarifying the minimum area for development and open space requirements
in the TS-R and TS-M zones.

By amending the following section of the Montgomery County Zoning
Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-C-8              "Transit Station Development Area Zones"

Division 59-C-8.4            "Development Standards"

[Effective Date July 1, 1996]

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of:

- adding a new Life Sciences Center [[Euclidean]] Floating Zone to the
Industrial Zones to provide for a major research and development park for
facilities of companies specializing in the life sciences and related fields.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning
Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County code:

Division 59-C-5              "Industrial Zones"

Section 59-C-5.1             "Zones Established"

Section 59-C-5.21           "Allowable Uses"

Section 59-C-5.3             "Development Standards"

Section 59-C-5.47           "Special Regulations for LSC Zone"

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of:

(1)     Transferring certain duties and responsibilities assigned to the
Department of Housing and Community Development to the Department
of Housing and Community [[and Consumer]] Affairs.

(2)     Making certain stylistic changes.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning
Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-C-1              "Residential Zones, One-Family."
