AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of

-    Adding a definition for telecommunication facility;

-    Amending the requirements for locating telecommunication facilities on
publicly owned land and privately owned land;

-    Amending the land use tables in certain zones to allow telecommunication
facilities as both permitted uses and by special exception;

-    Amending the height standards in certain commercial and industrial zones
to allow a 150-foot monopole tower as a permitted use; and

-    Amending the special exception standards and requirements for
telecommunication facilities.

By amending various sections of the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance,
Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of

- modifying the special regulations for transferable development rights to
require recordation of TDR easements to occur prior to recordation of the
final record plat for a subdivision using transferable development rights.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning
Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-C-1                "RESIDENTIAL ZONES, ONE-FAMILY"

Section 59-C-l.393         "Development Approval Procedures Under the

Optional Method of Development"

Subdivision Regulations Amendment No. 96-2

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Subdivision Regulations for the
purpose of:

- requiring that preliminary plans using TDRs be approved with the condition
that ownership of the TDRs be shown at the time of record plat recordation.
