Ch. 54 1997 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(3) The Commission is composed of [9] 12 members appointed and serving
in accordance with the previsions of § l-102(c) of this article. The experience and
backgrounds of Commission members shall represent the diversified angling interests and
waters of the State.

(4) (i) The term of a member is 4 years and a member may be
reappointed.

(ii) At the end of a term, a member continues to serve until a successor
is appointed and qualifies.

(iii) A member who is appointed after a term has begun serves only for
the rest of the term and until a successor is appointed and qualifies.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County - Dog Licenses

FOR the purpose of providing that, in Wicomico County, a dog license shall expire as
specified by County law.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions
Section 11-501(1)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1996 Replacement Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions

11-501.

(1) In Wicomico County:

(1) [the] THE fees for dog and kennel licenses shall be determined by the
County Council of Wicomico County; AND

(2) A DOG LICENSE SHALL EXPIRE AS SPECIFIED BY COUNTY LAW.
