Amendment No. 4:

On page 34, in the unnumbered line following line 30, add the words "Funds are
appropriated in various State agency budgets and the Capital Budget to pay for services
provided by this program. Authorization is hereby granted to use up to $500,000 of these
receipts as special funds for operating expenses in this program.".

Amendment No. 5:

On page 41, strike lines 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 32, 39, and 43 in their entirety; and in line
31, strike the numeral "600,000" and substitute the numeral "1,600,000"; and in line 42,
strike the numeral "2,708,000" and substitute the numeral "5,203,000".

Amendment No. 6:

On page 70, in line 17, strike the words "legislation repealing" and substitute the
words "HB 805 extending"; and in line 18, strike the words "certain limitations" and
substitute the word "limitation".

Amendment No. 7:

On page 81, in line 8, strike the word "legislation" and substitute the words "SB 727
or HB 924", and add the word "certain" after the word "a".

Amendment No. 8:

On page 92, in line 18, strike the words "Division of Correctional Education" and
substitute the words "Correctional Education Program".

Amendment No. 9:

On page 93, in line 16, strike the word "addtional" and substitute the word
"additional".

Amendment No. 10:

On page 94, beginning in line 29 and ending in line 32, strike the words "legislation"
through "programs" in their entirety and substitute the words "HB 1357 increasing the
local share of the costs paid by a county for the education of children with disabilities who
are placed in out-of-state nonpublic education programs".

Amendment No. 11:

On page 96, in line 13, strike the numeral and words "$10,000,000 of"; and
beginning in line 15 and ending in line 18, strike the words "legislation" through
"students" in their entirety and substitute the words "HB 1125 providing that the grant
for transportation services for public school students shall be reduced by a certain amount
for certain fiscal years and providing that the reduction shall be apportioned among the
county boards in a certain manner".

Amendment No. 12:

On page 122, in line 1, strike the word "MARYLAND"; and in line 2, strike the
word "Superintendent" and substitute the word "Secretary".
