36.01.02.31    Public Libraries

In addition to the appropriation shown on
page 96 of the printed bill (first reading file
bill), to provide funds for library aid for
Prince George's County.
Object .12 Grants, Subsidies and
Contributions

General Fund Appropriation. It is the intent
of the General Assembly that $2,000,000 of
this appropriation is a one-time grant for
library aid for Prince George's County.

36.01.02.32    State Library Network

In addition to the appropriation shown on
page 96 of the printed bill (first reading file
bill), to provide funds for supporting the
Sailor project which allows local school
libraries and the general public to access
information resources. The funds will pay
for leased lines, license fees for accessing
Internet, and maintenance costs for
electronic routing equipment.,
Object .12 Grants, Subsidies and
Contributions

36.01.03.00 State Aided Educational Institutions
To become available immediately upon
passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 1995 to provide
funds to Blind Industries and Services of
Maryland in order to pay for unemployment
insurance costs related to laying off 125
employees due to losing certain business
contracts.
