Subdivision Regulation Amendment No. 94-1

AN AMENDMENT to the Subdivision Regulations for the purpose of

- amending the procedures for processing preliminary plan of subdivision
applications to differentiate between large and small projects, provide a phasing
program for large projects, and amend the validity period requirements.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Code, Chapter 50,
Subdivision of Land:                                                           

Section 50-34              "Preliminary Subdivision Plans—Filing and

Specifications"
Section 50-35               "Preliminary Subdivision Plans—Approval

Procedure"

Zoning Text Amendment No. 93015

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of

-    revising the definition of farm tenant dwelling;

-    revising the land use tables in the Rural, RC and RDT zones to permit farm
tenant dwellings to be rented to non-farm families under certain conditions; and

-    revising and amending the special exception requirements to exclude a
grandfathered farm tenant dwelling.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance,
Chapter 59 of the Montgomery county Code:

Division 59-A-2          "Definitions and Interpretations"

Section 59-C-1.31 "Land Uses"

Section 59-C-9.3         "Land Uses"

Section 59-C-9.41 "Density in RDT zone"

Section 59-C-9.6         "Transfer of Density - Option in Rural

Density Transfer zone."
Section 59-G-2            "Special Exceptions - Standards and

Requirements."
