AN ORDINANCE concerning:

Agricultural Preservation Program

FOR the purpose of establishing certain conditions under which a landowner may request
that an agricultural easement be purchased; providing for the purchase of
agricultural easements over a certain number of years; providing for the purchase of
agricultural easements with certain revenues; limiting the conveyances which may
be made in a family conveyance subdivision that is subject to an agricultural
easement; and generally relating to the Agricultural Preservation Program.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments:

Article 24, §§ 2-205(a) and 2-207(d); and Article 26, § 4-301
Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended)

Retirement Plan for Appointed and Elected Officials County Pension Plans - Transfers

Between Plans

FOR the purpose of requiring transfers of pension plan assets to accompany transfers of
employees from certain other one County pension plans plan to the Retirement
Plan for Appointed and Elected Officials another; specifying the method for
calculating the amount of assets to be transferred; providing for the retroactive
applicability of the provisions of this Ordinance; requiring certain actions by the
Personnel Officer; and generally relating to the Retirement Plan for Appointed and
Elected Officials transfers between County retirement plans,

Article 7, §§ 2-204(a), 3-204(a), 4-201(c), 5-201(c), and 6-101(a)

Animal Control - Licenses and Fees

FOR the purpose of requiring that certain cats be licensed; altering license fees for
certain animals; altering fees for redemption of impounded animals; clarifying that
a cat fancier is subject to certain licensing requirements; and making technical and
stylistic changes.
