Charter Resolution Amendment No. 1994-1

SUBJECT: "Referendum." Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean
City, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the Constitution of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957
edition as amended, to amend the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the
amendment to be entitled: Section C-411 "Referendum" by repealing and reenacting
with amendment certain sections of the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland.
This amendment shall have the effect of changing the manner in which the number of
necessary signatures for a referendum are determined, and the time for filing the petition.
