PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 86 [(n)](L) "Sewerage system" has the meaning as stated in § 9-601(n) of the [(o)](M) "State" means the State of Maryland and any of its departments, [(p)](N) "Subdistrict" means a service area within the [District] COUNTY. [(q)](O) "United States" means the United States of America and any of its [(r)](P) "Water system" has the meaning stated in § 9-601(q) of the [6-201. (a) (1) There is a public body politic and corporate of the State of Maryland (2) The District may exercise the powers and duties conferred by this title in (b) By either ordinance or resolution, the county may: (1) Change the name of the District or of the Commission or both; (2) Amend the boundaries of the District; and (3) Change, add to, or diminish the powers and purposes of the District and (c) The county shall establish and maintain a suitable and properly indexed file [6-202.
