together with the fodder and Course provender upon the same, three Beds,
Bedstead and furniture, one dozen Chairs, two Tables, one bureau, one Cupboard
three Carpets, one set of Cups and Saucers, two sets of Knives and forks, one
dinner set of Plates and Dishes, one tea set of same, and all the residue
of my Household and Kitchen furniture all which said property is now
in my possession.  To have and to hold the said above described property
unto the said William Christopher his heirs and assigns forever to his and
their sole use and uses forever, And to and for no other use intent or
purpose whatsoever against me the said Alexander R Anderson and my
heirs, and against all persons whatsoever claiming the same or any part
thereof, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents unto
the said William Christopher his heirs and assigns forever.

       In Testimony whereof the said Alexander R Anderson has hereunto
subscribed his name and affixed his seal this twenty fifth day of August
in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty two
Signed Sealed and delivered In the                        A R Anderson   (Seal)
presence of   James Rea   J. P.

State of Maryland            Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that
Dorchester County sc      This twenty fifth day of August in the year of our
Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and fifty two personally appeared the
within named Alexander R Anderson party vendor named in the aforegoing
Bill of Sale and acknowledged the within and aforegoing bill of
Sale to be his act and deed, and delivered the same for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned, according to the act of assembly in such case
made and provided.  And I also Certify that William Christopher party
grantee named in the aforegoing BIll of Sale personally appeared
before me the subscriber on the day and year aforesaid and made oath
on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the Consideration stated in
the foregoing Bill of Sale is true and Bona fide as therein set forth
          Acknowledged and sworn before            James Rea   J. P.

          Received August 25th 1852 of William Christopher the sum of
one dollar in lieu of a stamp on this Bill of Sale.

Hugh S Muir      Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified
        from           that the following Bill of Sale was received and
Malachi Vickers      recorded on the 8th day of March 1852
                                     Know all Men by these presents that I
Malachi Vickers of Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and
in Consideration of the sum of Twenty one dollars and fifteen cents, current
money to me in hand paid by Hugh S Muir of Dorchester County and
State of Maryland have granted bargained and sold and by these presents

Delivered to Hugh S Muir Octo 20th 1852
