386. Charles F. Goldsborough Be it remembered and it is hereby certified from that the following Bill of sale was received William Frazier and and recorded on the 3rd day of Thomas James Frazier January A. D. 1852 To wit: Know all men by these presents. That we William Frazier and Thomas J. Frazier of Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen hundred and fifty dollars current money to us in hand paid by Charles F. Goldsborough of Dorchester County and State of Maryland, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Charles F. Goldsborough his heirs and assigns, The printing press and all the type of a certain newspaper called and known by the name of the "Cambridge Chronicle" together with all the fixtures and all and singular every other article belonging to and now in the office of the said newspaper, which said type, press and other fixtures are now in a certain office on poplar street in the town of Cambridge, and now in the occupation and possession of the said Charles F. Goldsborough, to have and to hold all and singular the said press, type and other the premises, as above bargained and sold unto the said Charles F. Goldsborough his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, against us the said William Frazier and Thomas J. Frazier, our heirs, executors and administrators, and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever, shall and will warrant and forever defend. In testimony whereof, We William Frazier and Thomas J. Frazier have hereto set our hands and affixed seals this second day of January, eighteen hundred and fifty two. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of W.m Frazier (Seal) NB. All erasures were made before the execution of this bill of sale Thomas J. Frazier (Seal) Witness Charles Corkran Rider Henry Maryland, Dorchester County, to wit: On the second day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty two, personally appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, the within named William Frazier and Thomas J. Frazier and acknowledged the within bill of sale to be their act and deed, according to the purport, true intent and meaning of the same, and at the same time came before me Charles F. Goldsborough within mentioned, and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that the consideration set forth in this bill of sale is true and bona fide, as therein set forth, according to the Act of assembly made and provided.
