State of Maryland Dorchester County, To wit:  On this 29.th day of
November 1847 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for
the said County and state personally appeared Levin Phillips Executor of
Margaret Phillips and Acknowledged the above Bill of sale or instrument
of writing to be          act and deed according to the true intent and
meaning thereof.      Acknowledged before

John F. Green & others      Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale
          from            Ex.d      was recorded on the 4.th day of December 1847, To wit:
Emeline Green                    Know all men by these presents that I Emeline Green of
                                          Dorchester County and state of Maryland for the natural
love and affection that I have toward my three children namely John F. Green,
Sarah Green and Ann Louisa Green of the County and state aforesaid and for the
sum of five dollars lawful money of the United States to me in hand paid
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge, have granted, bargained, and sold and transfered and by these
presents do grant, bargain, sell and transfer unto my three children before
named to be divided equally between them share and share alike all the
property or money that may become due to me by the distribution of my late
Husband Alfred Green's Estate that shall be made by the Orphans Court
of Dorchester County state of Maryland and also all my right, title, claim
and interest to all the money or accounts that was bequeathed to me by my Father
Algernon Hurley late dece.d let the said sum or sums of Money or accounts be
what they may and I do authorise by these presents the Administrator D. B. N.
of my said Husband Alfred Green and the Administrators of my late Father
Algernon Hurley to pay over to my said three Children as above named or
to their Guardian or Guardians all the money that may become due to
me as aforesaid   And I the said Emeline Green for myself, my heirs, executors
or Administrators do warrant and forever defend by these presents the aforesaid Money
or accounts unto my said children, their heirs, executors or Administrators
forever against all manner of persons claiming from or under me.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
fourth day of December Eighteen hundred & forty seven.        his

Be it remembered that on this fourth day of December Eighteen hundred & forty seven
the within named Emeline Green personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice
of the Peace for the County and state aforesaid and acknowledged the foregoing instrument
of writing to be his Act and deed and the property therein mentioned to be the
right and estate of of her three children before mentioned according to the true intent
and meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided
