^of Maryland,^ of Maryland, Executor of John Jones of Col ^deced^ late of Dorchester ^Dorchester^
County ^state of Maryland^ deceased, of the one party, and Sarah Jones of McKiels'
point in said County & State, of the other part, Witnesseth,
that the said William J. Jones, Executor as aforesaid, for and
in consideration of the sum of Three hundred & fifty dollars,
current money, to him in hand paid by the said Sarah Jones,
at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath, granted, bargained & sold,
and by these presents doth grant, bargain & sell, unto the said
Sarah Jones, her Executors, Administrators and Assigns, the
following Negroes, Viz:  one Negro man named William Jinkins,
and belonging to this Estate of the aforesaid John Jones of Col.
for the full time or term of five years & six months from the
twelfth day of July Eighteen hundred & fifty one, that being
the period of time the said William Jinkins has to serve, at the
expiration of which time or term he the said William Jinkins
is to be free,   Also Negro Girl named Mary belonging to the
Estate of John Jones of Col. as aforesaid, for the full time or
term of ten years & eight months from the first day of July
Eighteen hundred & fifty one, that being the period of time
the said Negro Girl Mary has to serve, at the expiration of
which time or term of servitude, the said Negro Mary is
to be free   To have and to hold the said Negro Man
William Jinkins, and the said Negro Girl Mary unto the
said Sarah Jones, her Executors, Administrators and Assigns
to her & their own use & benefit, during all the said time
or term above mentioned & no longer   Now the said parties
to this Indenture fully agree to see the matters & conditions
set forth in this Indenture or Bill of Sale.  In Witness
whereof the said William J. Jones, as Executor aforesaid,
and Sarah Jones aforesaid, have hereunto set their hands
and affixed their seals the day & year first herein before written.

State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit:  Be it remembered
and it is hereby Certified that on the nineteenth day of July
in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
fifty one, before me the subscriber, one of the Justices of the
Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester
County, personally appeared William J. Jones, Executor of
John Jones of Col. deceased as aforesaid, together with M.rs Sarah
