351. within mentioned, and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set forth in this Mortgage Bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth, according to the true meaning of the Act of Assembly of 1846 Chapter 271 made and provided. Wright Be it remembered that the following Ex.d from 140 Mortgage Bill of sale was recorded on James Clark J.r & the 16.th day of July 1851, To wit: John Clark {Stamp} This Indenture made this third day of July one thousand eight hundred & fifty one between James Clark J.r and John Clark of the one part and Martin L. Wright of the other part, all of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland Whereas the said James Clark J.r and John Clark owes and stands justly indebted to the said William L. Wright in the sum of Three hundred & eighty eight dollars and thirty seven cents, current money ^of the United States^ ** as above stated, and to secure and insure the payment of the sum of Three hundred & eighty eight dollars and thirty seven cents, are willing to and do execute these presents Now this Indenture witnesseth, that the said James Clark J.r and John Clark, for and in consideration of the premises, and of the sum of one dollar, current money, to them in hand paid by the said Martin L. Wright, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge, and thereof and therefrom do acquit, release, exonerate and forever discharge the said Martin L. Wright, his heirs, Executors & Administrators ^and every of them, by these presents^ hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain & sell unto the said Martin L. Wright, his Executors, Administrators and Assigns, all and singular the Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Hogs, Oxen, and Ox Carts, Crops and grain, such as wheat & corn &c, To wit: Four yoke of Oxen, making eight head, estimated at Thirty five dollars per yoke, Four Cows estimated at Eight dollars each, one Horse, Chester, valued at thirty dollars, one Mare called Hornet, valued at thirty dollars, one Mare Nettle estimated at thirty dollars, one Bay Mare Colt estimated at Eight dollars, Twelve head of Sheep estimated at one dollar a piece, Twenty five Hogs, sows, pigs &c valued at thirty dollars, two Ox Carts estimated at thirty dollars for both, the Crop of wheat growing or shocked up or in the House & estimated at fifty dollars and **to us paid & satisfied by Martin L. Wright of the same County & State aforesaid, of the other part, witnesseth that whereas the said James Clark J.r & John Clark owes & stands justly indebted to Martin L.
