318. Henry Collins, of the County & State aforesaid, at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents, I, the said William Collins do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, unto the said Henry COllins, his heirs, executors, Administrators and Assigns, all the goods, household stuff, implements and furniture and stock particularly mentioned, expressed & contained in the Schedule hereunto annexed, that is to say, one gray Mare about four years old, one Sorrel Horse twelve years old, one Yoke of Oxen, one Cart, seven head of Cattle, thirteen head of Sheep and thirteen head of Hogs, all & singular goods & chattels & stock are now remaining in the occupation of the said William Collins: To have and to hold all & singular the goods, household stuff, implements, furniture & stock, above bargained and sold, or mentioned or intended so to be, to the said Henry Collins, his heirs, executors, Administrators & Assigns forever. And I, the said William Collins, for myself, my heirs, executors and Administrators, all and singular the said goods &c unto the said Henry Collins, his executors, Administrators and Assigns, against me, the said William Collins, my executors and administrators, and against all ad every other person or persons whatsoever, shall and will warrant & forever defend by these presents; of all & singular which goods &c I the said William Collins have put the said Henry Collins in full possession by delivering to him, the said Henry Collins, one Sorrel Horse at the sealing & delivery of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained & sold, or mentioned or intended so to be, unto him the said Henry Collins as aforesaid. In Witness whereof I, the said William Collins, have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty fourth day of February A. D. 1851. Signed, sealed & delivered in the his presence of Charles Corkran William x Collins (Seal) mark State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: Be it remembered that on this twenty fourth day of February in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred & fifty one, personally appears Henry Collins before me a Justice of the Peace for and in the County & state aforesaid, and makes Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration sum as stated in the within Bill of sale is just and true, and at the time of the executing of the said Bill of sale the said William Collins was due the said Henry Collins in the sum of ninety two dollars & ninety cents And further at the same time personally appears William Collins before me and acknowledges the within instrument of writing to be the act and deed, and the goods &c therein mentioned and thereby bargained and sold to be the right and estate of the said Henry Collins; his heirs, executors and Administrators, according to the purport, true intent and meaning of |
