State of Maryland, Dorchester County, Sct:  Be it remembered & it is hereby
certified, that on this ninth day of January in the year of Our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty one, before the subscriber a Justice of the
Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for Dorchester County, aforesaid, personally
appears Mary Ennalls, she being known to me to be the person who is
named & described as, and professing to be, a party to the foregoing Deed of
Manumission or indenture, and doth acknowledge the said Indenture or
instrument of writing to be her act and deed.  In testimony whereof I
hereto subscribe my name on the day & year aforesaid

Clement Hubbard                         Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that
Ex.d    from  V  62½ {Stamp}      the following Bill of sale was recorded on the
Thomas Storr           {one Dol.}   10.th day of January A. D. 1851, To wit:
                                                    Know all men by these presents that I, Thomas Storr,
of Dorchester County and State of Maryland, for and in consideration of the
sum of five hundred dollars, current money, to me in hand paid by Clement
Hubbert, of Dorchester County & State of Maryland, have granted, bargained
and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell, unto the said
Clement Hubbard, his heirs & Assigns, Negro Woman Milley, aged about
twenty years, slave for life and sound in body and mind.  To have &
to hold the said Negro Woman Milley aged as aforesaid and slave for
life as aforesaid, as above bargained & sold, unto the said Clement Hubbard,
his heirs, executors, Administrators & Assigns, against me the said
Thomas Storr, my heirs, executors and Administrators, and against all &
every other person or persons whatsoever, shall & will warrant and
forever defend.  In testimony whereof I, Thomas Storr have hereto set my
hand & affixed my seal this eighth day of January in the year eighteen
hundred and fifty one.                                                      his

Maryland, Dorchester County Sct:  On this 8.th day of January in the year of Our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one, personally appeared before me a
Justice of the Peace in and for said County, the within Thomas Storr &
acknowledged the within Bill of sale to be his Act and deed according to the
purport, true intent & meaning of the same:  And at the same time came before me,
Clement Hubbard, within mentioned, and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty
God that the consideration set forth in this Bill of sale is true and bona fide
as therein set forth, according to the true meaning of the Act of Assembly of
1846, Chapter 271, made & provided.
