279 have put the said James Thompson in full possession by delivering to him the said James Thompson the aforesaid bay mare pigeon at the sealing and delivery of the presents it being the property hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said James Thompson as aforesaid Witness my hand and seal this 8.th day of October 1850 Signed and acknowledged in presence of his Nicholas Langfit Henry Lee x Thompson (seal) mark On this 8.th day of October 1850 personally appeared James Thompson before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for Dorchester County and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the Consideration mentioned in the within and foregoing Bill of Sale is true and Bonafide as set forth. Sworn before Nicholas Langfit J P State of Maryland, Dorchester County, to wit: Be it remembered that on this 8.th day of October 1850 personally appeared Henry Lee Thompson before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the State and County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Bill of Sale to be his act and deed to the true intent and meaning of the instrument of writing Taken and acknowledged before Nicholas Langfit (seal) John Thompson Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was recorded Paid Ex.d from 65 on the 12.th day of October Anno Domini 1850, to wit: Henry Lee Thompson Know all men by these presents that I Henry Lee Thompson of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty Dollars current money to me in hand paid by John Thompson of the County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Henry lee Thompson do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said John Thompson his executors administrators and assigns one Bay Mare named Polly and which said Bay Mare Polly is now remaining and in the occupancy of the said Henry Lee Thompson, To Have and to Hold the said Bay mare Polly above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said John Thompson his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Henry lee Thompson for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said Bay Mare Polly and other the premises unto the said John Thompson his executors administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said Bay Mare Polly, I the said Henry Lee Thompson have put the said John Thompson in full possession by delivering of these presents it being the property hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said John Thompson as aforesaid Witness my hand and Seal this seventh day of October Anno Domini Eighteen hundred and fifty his Signed sealed and acknowledged in Henry Lee x Thompson (Seal) presence of Nicholas Langfit mark On this 8.th day of October 1850 personally appeared John Thompson before the subscribers a Justice of the Peace for Dorchester County and Made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the Consideration mentioned in the within and aforegoing Bill of Sale is true and Bona fide as therein set forth Sworn before Nicholas Langfit J.
