250. John Bradshaw Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that the following Bill of sale was Ex.d from 75 recorded on the 30.th day of April, in the year 1850, To wit: Enoch Wilson Know all Men by these presents that I, Enoch Willson, free Negro, of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty nine dollars & ninety three cents, current money, to me in hand paid by John Bradshaw of the County & State afsaid, at and before the sealing & delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the said Enoch Willson, do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain & sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell, unto the said John Bradshaw, his Executors, Administrators & Assigns, all the goods, chattels & personal Estate of the said Enoch Wilson expressed and & contained in the Schedule hereunto annexed, one Yoke of Oxen one red & one blk with white back, and one yoke of young Steers & one Ox Cart, one Cow, three Sows & six large Shotes and nine small shotes, two ploughs & one Harrow, two Axes To have and to hold and singular the goods, Stock and farming utensils & other premises above bargained & sold, or mentioned or intended so to be, to the said John Bradshaw, his executors, Administrators and Assigns forever. And I, the said Enoch Wilson, for myself, my heirs, executors & administrators, all the stock, farming Utentials &c &c and other premises above bargained & sold, or mentioned, or there intended so to be, to the said John Bradshaw his executors and Administrators, against me, the said Enoch Wilson, my Executors and Administrators & Assigns, and against all & every other person or persons whatsoever, shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents, of all and singular which said goods, Stock &c &c as aforesaid, & other premises, I, the said Enoch Wilson, have put the said John Bradshaw in full possession by delivering to him the said John Bradshaw two yoke of Steers, 3 Sows, 6 large Shotes and nine small ones at the sealing & delivering of these presents, in the name of the whole premises herein bargained and sold or mentioned and & intended to be so, unto him the said John Bradshaw as afs.d In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal 15.th day of April in the year of Our Lord 1850. his Test Charles Corkran Enoch + Wilson free (seal) mark State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: On this 15 day of April 1850, personally appeared Enoch Wilson and Acknowledged the fore BIll of sale, or instrument, or bill of sale is correct, according to the Act of Assembly in such case made provided Taken & acknowledged before Charles Corkran. Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: Also personally appeared before me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace, in and for said County, John Bradshaw, the grantee aforesaid, and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set forth in the aforegoing Bill of sale is true and bona fide, according to the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided.
