County aforesaid, and Acknowledged the above Bill of sale or instrument of writing
to be their Act & deed   Also same time appeared William H. Hubbard, the grantee
of the above Bill of sale, and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God
that the consideration mentioned in the above Bill of sale is true & bona fide
as therein set forth   Acknowledged & Certified to before      James Smith


Govaine Reddit                Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that the following
Paid   Ex.d   from   81      Mortgage Bill of sale was recorded on the 21.st
Robt. B. Hazzard             day of February in the year 1850, To wit:
                                        This Indenture made this 19.th day of February in the year
of our Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty, between Robert B. Hazzard of the Town
of Cambridge, Dorchester County and State of Maryland, of the other part, and Govane
Reddit of the place, County and State aforesaid, of the other part   Whereas
the said Robert B. Hazzard was & stands justly indebted to the said Govane
Reddit in the sum of Eighty dollars, current money, and to secure the payment
thereof is willing to execute these presents, Now this Indenture Witnesseth,
that the said Robert B. Hazzard, for and in consideration of the premises,
and for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty dollars, current money, to
him in hand paid by the said Govane Reddit, at or before the sealing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof the said Robert B. Hazzard
doth hereby acknowledge, and thereof and therefore doth acquit, release, exonerate
and forever discharge the said Govane Reddit, his heirs, Executors and Administrators,
and every of them by these presents hath granted, bargained and sold, and
by these presents doth grant, bargain & sell unto the said Govane Reddit, his
heirs, Assigns, Executors & Administrators, all and singulary the goods hereinafter
particularly mentioned and expressed, that is to say, one dark sorrel blind Mare,
Polly, one Horse Cart, one Waggon, one new Bed & furniture   To have and
to hold the said property herein granted, bargained & sold, mentioned or intended
to be, unto the said Govane Reddit, his Executors and Assigns, the only proper
use & behoof of the said Govane Reddit, his Executors, Administrators and
Assigns forever:  Provided Always, and these presents are upon this condition that
if the said Robert B. Hazzard, his Administrators &c shall and do well & truly pay
or cause to be paid unto the said Govane Reddit, his Executors, Administrators or
Assigns, the full & just sum of Eighty dollars, current money, on or before the
first day of September next ensuing the date of these presents, without interest,
then and in such case these presents and every matter & thing herein contained shall
cause, determine and be utterly void, to all intents and purposes, any thing contained
to the contrary notwithstanding.  In testimony whereof the said Robert B.
Hazzard hath hereto set his hand and set affixed his seal the day and date
herein written.
