212. to me in hand paid by Abram Cornish of said County, in the said State, at & before the sealing & delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the said Solomon Cornish, do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell, unto the said Abram Cornish, his Executors, Administrators & Assigns, all the goods hereinafter particularly mentioned, that is to say, one Yoke Oxen, one Ox Cart, Yoke & Bows, all & singular which said property are now in possession of the said Solomon Cornish. To have and to hold all the said property and other the premises above bargained & sold, or mentioned and intended so to be, to the said Abram Cornish, his Executors, Administrators & Assigns forever And I, the said Solomon Cornish, for myself, my heirs, executors and Administrators, all and singular the said property and other the premises, unto the said Abram Cornish, his Executors, Administrators & Assigns, against me, the said Solomon Cornish, my Executors and Administrators, and against all & every other person or persons whatsoever, shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents; of all & singular which said property & other the premises, I, the said Solomon Cornish have put the said Abram Cornish in full possession of by delivering to him, the said Abraham Cornish the above property at the sealing & delivering of these presents, in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained & sold, or mentioned & intended so to be, unto him the said Abraham Cornish as aforesaid. In Witness whereof the said Solomon Cornish hath hereunto set his hand & seal this 24.th day of November in the year 1849. his Acknowledged before Solomon x Cornish (seal) Noah Abbott J. P. mark State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: On the 24.th day of November 1849, before me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace, in & for said County, personally appeared Solomon Cornish and acknowledged the above Bill of sale to be his act & deed, and delivered the same for the uses & purposes therein mentioned And also at the same time personally appeared Abraham Cornish and under Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set forth in the within instrument of writing is true & bona fide.
