Dozen Chairs, Mahogany Table, Pine Table, Pillow Clock, Straw Carpet,
large waiter, 2 small waiters, 4 Common Chairs, one Hearth rug,
2 Hearth Brushes, 2 Bureaus, 1 Desk, 2 large looking Glasses, 6 pair
Sheets, 1 pair Blankets, 4 pillows, 1 sett castors, 1 lot of Books, 2
white Counterpanes, 2 Blue do, Shovel & tongs, 1 pair And Irons,
1 Hog, Iron pot, Tea Kettle, oven, trough, 18 pans, 2 doz large Jars,
1 lot dry goods, 1 lot of Books (in the store) 2, 8 day Clocks, 1 lot
umbrellas together with all my House hold and Kitchen furniture &
Baking implements and all the balance of the goods in the Store
not named together with all the personal property now belonging
to me   To have and to hold all the said property to the said
Ann Corbin and her Assigns and heirs forever in trust for the
following purpose, To wit:  that the said M.rs Ann M. Corbin
wife of the said WIlliam S. Corbin shall have the free and unmolested
use thereof for her own benefit and clear of all demands
of the Creditors of the said William S. Corbin.  In testimony whereof
I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this 3.d day of
August 1847

State of Maryland Dorchester County, To wit:  On this 3.d
day of Augt 1847 personally appears before me the subscriber
a Justice of the Peace for said state and County William S. Corbin
and acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing to be his
Act and deed

James Thompson      Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale
      from      Ex.d      was recorded on the 10.th day of August 1847, To wit:
James Parrott           Know all men by these presents that I James Parrott
                                of Baltimore City for and in consideration of the
sum of one hundred and thirty dollars to me in hand paid by James
Thompson Esq.r of Dorchester County have granted, bargained & sold and
by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said James Thompson
Esquire my Negro Girl named Meria aged eight years a servant
for the term of thirty five years from January the first last past and
sound in body and mind   To have and to hold the said Negro Girl
names Meria for the term of thirty years from January the first Eighteen
hundred and forty seven as above bargained and sold unto the
said James Thompson Esq.r his heirs, executors, Administrators and
Assigns against me the said James Parrott, my heirs, executors &
Administrators and against all and every other person or persons
shall and will warrant and defend   In Witness whereof

Delivered Augt 10 1847 to James Thompson Esq.r
