this 22.d day of August 1848, before the subscriber appears Margaret Wingate,
party Grantor in the above Bill of sale, and Acknowledges the above Bill of
sale to be her Act & deed, and delivered for the purposes therein mentioned, agreeable
to the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided:   At the same
time personally appears Levin Insley, party Grantee, before the subscriber, and
made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that the consideration
mentioned in the foregoing Bill of sale is just and bona fide as therein
set forth.      Acknowledged before & Certified by               D. W. Tyler.


James & William Rea          Be it remembered that the following
Ex.d      from            95      Mortgage Bill of sale was recorded on
Robert B. Hazzard             the 5.th day of September 1848, To wit:
                                         This Indenture made this 26.th day of
August in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty eight,
between Robert B. Hazzard of the Town of Cambridge in Dorchester
County and state of Maryland, of the one part, and James Rea and
William Rea of the same County and state aforesaid, of the other
part   Whereas the said Robert B. Hazzard owes and stands justly
indebted to the said James Rea & William Rea in the sum of
seventy five dollars, current money, and to secure the payment
thereof is willing to execute these presents      Now this Indenture
Witnesseth, that the said Robert B. Hazzard, for and in consideration
of the Premises, and for and in consideration of the sum of five
dollars, Current Money, to him in hand paid by the said James
Rea and William Rea, at or before the sealing and delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof the said Robert B. Hazzard doth
hereby acknowledge, and thereof an therefrom doth acquit, release,
exonerate and forever discharge the said James Rea & William
Rea, their heirs, executors and Administrators, and every of them,
by these presents, hath granted, bargained & sold, and by these
presents doth grant, bargain & sell, unto the said James Rea &
William Rea, their heirs, executors, Administrators & Assigns, all
and singular the goods, furniture and House hold stuff hereinafter
particularly mentioned and expressed (that is to say) one black
Horse, one Waggon & Harness, three Sty Hogs, two Beds, steads
and furniture, one Cupboard and contents, one Brass Clock, one
walnut Table, one pine ditto, three other Pine Tables, one glass
case, nine chairs, one pair And Irons; Shovel & Tongs, one Candle
stand, one chest, one Trunck, one fancy Case, one pair Pitchers,
one looking Glass, frying Pan & Tin pans, one Spider, two Iron
Pots, one Tea Kettle, one wheel barrow, together with all other
House hold & Kitchen Furniture, standing and being on the premises
now in the occupancy of the said Robert B. Hazzard   To have &
