Taken & Certified by Charles J. Smith C Shenton William Robson, son Be it remembered that the following Bill of sale to pay of W.m K. Robson, was recorded on the 15.th day of August 1848. Ex.d from 50 Know all men by these presents that we Charles C. Shenton & T. D. Keene Shenton and Thomas D. Keene, of Dorchester County and state of Maryland, as well for and in consideration of the natural love and affection, which we the said Charles Shenton and Thomas D. Keene have and beareth unto William Robson son of William K. Robson, as also for the better maintenance, support, livelihood & preferment of him the said William Robson, son of William K. Robson, have given, granted and confirmed, and by these presents do give, grant and confirm, unto the said William Robson son of William K. Robson, all our right, title & claim, of and to a negro man Harry which fell to us by the death of Sarah Keene, Grand Mother of the said William Robson, son of William K. Robson and Mary his wife, daughter of the said Sarah Keene, to the said William Robson, son of William K. Robson, his heirs & Assigns, against us, our heirs, executors and administrators, and against every other person or persons whomsoever. Marshall of the Town of Cambridge in Dorchester County and State of Maryland, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars, current money, to me in hand paid by Thomas Holland of same County and State afs.d, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the said Edward A. Marshall do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell, unto the said Thomas Deliv.d Aug.t 18.th 1848 to Thomas Breerwood |
