Edmondson at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof I the said Robert Harding whereby acknowledge have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
unto the said W V M Edmondson his executors administrators and
assigns all the property in the schedule hereunto annexed that is to say
one Black Mare one sorrel mare  Two colts one yoke oxen three
young cattle nine head sheep fourteen Hogs one Gig one ox cart one
Pen Knife Two Cows Two Beds and furniture (and bedsteads) balance
House Hold and Kitchen furniture all and singular which
said property and other the premises are now remaining standing
and being in certain messuage or tenement situate in the
County and state aforesaid and at presesent occupied by the said
Robert Harding   To have and to hold all and singular the said
property and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned
or intended so to be to the said W V M Edmondson his
executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said
Robert Harding for myself my heirs Executors and administrators
all and singular the said property unto the said W V M Edmondson
his executors administrators ^& assigns^ against me the said Robert
Harding my executors and administrators and against all and every
other person or persons whatsoever shall and will forever warrant and
defend by these presents of all and singular which said property
and other the premises I the said Robert Harding have put the
said W V M Edmondson in full possession by delivering unto him
the said W V M Edmondson one Pen Knife at the sealing and delivering
of these presents in the name of the whole property and premises
hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be
unto him the said W V M Edmondson as aforesaid  In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this Eighteenth
day of march 1843                                 his

State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit  Be it remembered
that on this Eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and forty three personally appears Robert
Harding the party grantor mentioned in the within Bill of sale or
instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace
in and for the County and state aforesaid and acknowledges the
within Bill of sale or instrument of writing to be his act and deed
and the property and other the premises therein mentioned
and thereby bargained and sold to be the right and estate of
