and one called Stephen one Gig and Harness 2 horses 3 yoke of stears 3 cows &
babies 10 head of other cattle 2 ox carts 40 bls corn 1500 lbs salted pork 3000 lbs blade
fodder fodder house one lot of straw 15 bushells Irish potatoes ten Bus oats 3
bee hives & bees one clock 3 beds and all the Ballance of the household furniture
& plow and all the Ballance of the farming utentials crop of wheat seeded
on the ground one wheat fan 75 cords of wood the half of 2 scows one Canoe
ten turkey 20 dung hill fouls ten head of sheep 6 sows and 30 piggs all
which property is now in possession of Richard Pattison to have and to hold
the same described property above bargained and sold to the said Hugh
Wingate his heirs executors Administrators and assigns forever to his and
their only proper use and benifit and I the said Levin H Wall for myself
my Executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever
defend by these presents to the said Hugh Wingate his executors and administrators
and assigns the said described property against me my
heirs executors and administrators claiming the same or any part thereof
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Affixed my seal
the 17 day of March 1843

1843 Before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for said
County appears Levin H Wall and acknowledges the foregoing writing
to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof
and the act of Assembly in such case made and provided

S & E Harrington         Be it remembered that the following bill of sale was
Ex.d   from                   recorded on 30 March 1843 to wit      Know
James Bromwell           all Men by these presents that I James Bromwell
of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration
of the Sum of Seventy Eight Dollars and Eighty one Cents Current Money
of Maryland to me in Hand paid by Samuel and Edward Harrington
of the county and state aforesaid at and Before the sealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof I the said James Bromwell do
Hereby acknowledge Have granted Bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant Bargain and sell unto the said Samuel & Edward
Harrington their Executors administrators and assigns all of the
Following articles to wit two Horses one yoke of oxen one ox cart two casling
one cow four Head Hogs two ploughs and gear two Harrows Crop
of wheat seeded on the Farm Whereon Samuel Smith resides also
