86 Benjamin F. Abbott Be it remembered that the following bill of sale Ex.d from was recorded on the 27th March 1843 to wit Samuel Abbott Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Abbott of Dorchester County and state of Maryland for and in consideration of the natural Love and affection which he the said Sam.l Abbott hath and Beareth unto His son Benjamin F Abbott Hath given unto His Son Benjamin Abbott one sorrell mare and one Horse cart and now in my Possesion to have and to hold the said Sorrell mare and Horse Cart to the said Benjamin Abbott his executors Administrators and assigns forever and I the said Saml Abbott for myself my executors and administrators the aforesaid sorrel mare and Horse cart to the said Benjamin F Abbott His executors administrators and assigns against me the said Saml Abbott my executors and administrators and against all and every and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend to the said Benjamin F Abbott His executors administrators and assigns against me my executors and administrators and against every other person or persons whomsoever In Witness whereof I Have Hereunto set my name and affixed my seal the 27th day of March 1848 In Presence of Sam.l Abbott (seal) Darius Abbott Thos Cantwell his x John G Abbott mark State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit On this 27 day of March Eighteen Hundred and forty three Before me one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said County appears Sam.l Abbott and acknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the True intent and meaning thereof and the act of Assembly in such case made and provided John G Abbott J.P. Hugh Wingate Be it remembered that the following bill of sale Ex.d from was recorded on the 29th March 1843 to wit Levin H Wall Know all men by these presents that I Levin H Wall Dorchester County and state of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars current money to me in hand paid by Hugh Wingate of the County and state aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt I do hereby acknowledge have Granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Hugh Wingate his executors administrators and assigns 3 negro men one called Jack one called Thomas Deld H Barnett 25 Jan 1844 |
