60 vendue in the city of Baltimore or elsewhere first giving Ten day notice of the time and place of such sale and as the attorney of the said Philip H Graham or otherwise to make sign seal execute and deliver to the purchaser or purchasers thereof a good and sufficient Bill of sale or other Conveyance therefor and out of the monies arising from such sale to retain all such sum or sums of Money & Interest which shall then be due according to the true intent and meaning thereof together with all costs and expenses attending such sale remaining the overplus money (if any) to the said Philip H Graham his executors administrators or assigns In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty three Signed sealed and delivered in pressence of Phillip H Graham (Seal) Thomas M Morris Wm H Iams State of Maryland Baltimore City to wit On this second day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty three before me the subscriber one of Peace of the state of maryland in & for said city appears Philip H Graham aboved named and acknowledged the foregoing mortgage or Instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true Intent and meaning thereof and the acts of assembly in such cases made and provided Acknowledged before & Certified by Augustin H. Penington Charles Shenton Be it remembered that the following Deed was Ex.d from recorded on 30 Jany 1843 to wit Know all men Edward Willing by these presents that I Edward Willing of Dorchester County State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum fifty dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Charles Shenton of said County and State at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Edward Willy do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the Said Charles Shenton the following property that is to say three shoats one sow & six pigs two beads and furniture two tables and six chairs to which said Goods and chattles are now in the occupancy of the Said Edward Willing To have and to hold the said Goods household and furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and |
