46 Henry W. Hicks Be it remembered that the following Ex.d from Bill of sale was recorded on 19 Jany Mitchell Neale anno domini 1843 to wit Know all men by these presents that I Mitchell Neale of Dorchester county State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and two dollars to me in hand paid by Henry W Hicks of the county and state aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Mitchell Neale do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Henry W Hicks his executors administrators and assigns all the property in the schedule hereunto annexed that is to say One Horse One yoke oxen Two Cows One yearling Six head Hogs fifteen Barrels corn three thousand pounds Blade fodder? Two stack straw Eight hundred pounds Pork one ox cart Two Beds Bedsteads and furniture all and singular which said property is at pressent on the premises now occupied by the said Mitchell Neale situate in the county and state aforesaid To have and to hold all and singular the said property hereby bargained and sold or ^meant^ mentioned or intended hereby so to be to the said Henry W Hicks his executors administrators and assigns forever And I the said Mitchell Neale for my self my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said property unto the said Henry W Hicks his heirs executors administrators and assigns against me the said Mitchell Neale my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will forever warrant and defend by these pressents of all and singular the said property I the said Mitchell Neal have put the said Henry W Hicks in full possesion by delivering unto him the said Henry W Hicks one horse at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the names of the whole property hereby bargained and sold or meant; mentioned or intended hereby so to be unto him the said Henry W Hicks as aforesaid In witness I the said Mitchell Neale have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this thirteenth day |
