44 said James W Parmer do hereby acknowledge have granted Bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the unto the said Wm G Lecompte & White & Andersons their Executors administrators and assigns one bay horse hackney one gig & harness one mare two colts seven head of cattle one yoke of steers one ox cart 27 head of Hogs 12 head of sheep more or less 4 bed bedsteads & furniture 10 chairs 2 tables one bureau & fall Desk and all the bale and of my house hold & citchen Furniture and now in my possession To have & To hold the discribed property to the said W G Lecompte & White & Anderson their executors administrators and assigns forever? and I the said James W Parmer? for my self my heirs executors and administrators the aforesaid property to the said W G Lecompte & White & Anderson their executors administrators and assigns against me the said James W Parmer my Executors and administrators and gainst all and every person and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these pressents provided nevertheless that in case I the said James W Parmer shall pay and satisfy to the said W G Lecompte & White & Anderson or to their executors administrators or assigns the sum of sixty one Dollars current money with interest for the same on or before the first day of January next ensuing then this bill of sail and any matter and thing therein expressed shall be void and of none effect it being the true intent and meaning thereof that the said property is mortgaged by me the said James W Parmer To secure to the said Wm G Lecompte & White & Anderson the payment of the money aforesaid in witness whereof I the said James W Parmer have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 12 day of January 1843 Signed sealed and his delivered in pressence of James W + Parmer John G Abbott JP Maryland Dorchester County to wit On this 12 day of January 1843 before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said county appears James W Parmer and acknowledges the foregoing writing To be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Witness my hand John G Abbott JP |
