41 paid the said sum of Fifty five dollars current money together with interest in the same after the rate aforesaid at such times and after such manner as hereinbefore set forth and agreed for the payment thereof In witness whereof I the said John Moore have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written his Witness Penrod Newton John + Moor (seal) mark State of Maryland Dorchester county to wit Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this Fifteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of maryland in and for the said county personally appeared John Moor he being known to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing indenture and doth acknowledge the said indenture or instrument of writing to be his act and deed In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribed my name on the day and year aforesaid William Newton Joseph E. Muse Be ^it^ remembered that the following release Ex.d from was recorded on 17th Jany anno domini 1843 Levin H. Campbell to wit This Indenture made this seventeenth day of January in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and Forty three between Lein H Campbell of Talbott county state of maryland of the one part and Joseph E Muse of Dorchester county state of maryland of the other part Whereas the said Joseph E muse did by Bond filed in the Registry of Dorchester county aforesaid engage to perform the duties of Guardian to said Levin H Campbell and has performed them during his said Levins minority & since his arrival at age the duties of agent up to the year first above written that is to the first day of January eighteen hundred and Forty three Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Levin H Campbell for and in consideration of the payment by said Joseph E. muse having been duly made to him said Levin in full of all notes Bonds Bills accounts claims & demands in law or Equity in the premises af.sd or in any regard whatever & for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said Joseph at & before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath hereby released discharged & exonerated and by these presents doth hereby release discharge & exonerate the said Joseph E Muse his heirs executors & administrators from all claims obligations & demands in any way |
