to be completed by me so far as the Carpenter's work is concerned and
launched and called or to be called "Eugenia" and of the following demensions
to wit forty two & one half feet keel, twenty feet beam &
five feet and one half depth of hole and towing about fifty tons
and one third Carpenters tonage   To have and to hold the said
vessel or schooner to the said Henry Maguire, his heirs, Ex.rs Adm.rs
or Assigns.  In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal
this 1.st of January 1847.                              Uriah Todd      (Seal)

                                        Dorchester County, To wit:  on the 1.st of Jany
1847 personally appears before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace
for said County Uriah Todd and Acknowledges the foregoing instrument

Elizabeth Jane Thomas      Be it remembered that the following Bill
Ex.d      from                    of Sale was recorded on the 8.th day of Jan.y 1847
Lewis Thomas                  Know all men by these presents that I Lewis
                                        Thomas of Dorchester County in the State of
Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and
fifty dollars current to me in hand paid by Elizabeth Jane Thomas
of State and County afs.d the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant,
bargain and sell unto the said Elizabeth Jane Thomas, her
heirs, executors, administrators and Assigns Three Beds & furniture
two Tables, one Clock, two Chests, one Yoke of Stears and one Male
Hog, one Looking Glass, two Iron pots, one Spider & one dutch oven,
one Silver watch, two Guns   To have and to hold the said property
as above described unto the said Elizabeth Jane Thomas her heirs
and Assigns to the only proper use and benefit of the said Elizabeth
Jane Thomas, her heirs and Assigns and to and for no other use, intent
or purpose whatsoever which property I warrant and defend
unto the said Elizabeth Jane Thomas, her executors, administrators
and assigns against me, my executors and administrators and
against every other person or persons whomsoever in Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 8.th day of
January 1847.                                                                 his
