(Daughter of the within named Hetta) being now of the age of five years
and to be free at the age of thirty years old which will be in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy one at the end of December
of said year also all her posterity if any during her slavery to go free
the males at the age of thirty five years and the females at the age of thirty
years.
All these within named servants I do declare to be free when they serve
out the term of time herein mentioned in this deed of Manumission (Except
the old one first mentioned Hetta which goes free immediately from the
date of this   And further after the four had arived to their term of
service to me my executors or Administrators forever.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
Eleventh day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and forty six.

Robert Bell  J. P.   Charles P. Straughan

Rec.d on the day of the date with mentioned the sum of six dollars
current money it being the full consideration money within mentioned

Dorchester County, To wit:
On this Eleventh day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and forty six personally appears John Rowins party to
the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the
Peace of the State of Maryland for said county and acknowledges the same
to be his Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned and the negro
woman within named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged from
all services to him or to any claiming under him and to be free and
manumitted according to the Act of Assembly in such cases made
and provided.  And also the other four negroes mentioned in the said
instrument of writing to be his Act and deed and that they are manumitted
and discharged from all service to him or to any claiming under
him after they the said negroes has arived to the aged Specified in the
said instrument of writing according to the Act of Assembly in such
cases made & provided.      Acknowledged before by      Robert Bell  J. P.


Thomas C. Jones      Be it remembered that the following Deed of
Paid  Ex.d   to           Manumission was recorded May 19 1846.
Negro Sina               To all whom it may concern be it known
                                 that I Thomas C. Jones of Dorchester County
in the State of Maryland for divers good causes & considerations
