347. appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid John Muir and Sam.l I. Meekins and made the following Oath, to wit: "We John Muir & Samuel I. Meekins subscribing Witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that W.m R. Tall, W.m W. Jones and James Smith obligors mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & deliver the said Bonds as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. Sworn before me on the day above mentioned. Robt Bell J. P. State of M.d Be it remembered that the following Bond was Ex.d from recorded on the 20.th day of April 1846, To wit: Samuel Tall Know all men by these presents that we Samuel Tall Constable Roger E. Robson and Joseph Woolford all of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland are held & firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said state or its certain attorney to which payment well & truly to be made & done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals & dated this 20.th day of April A. D. 1846. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden Samuel Tall shall well & faithfully execute the office of Constable in N.o 4 Election District in Dorchester County in all things appertaining thereto and shall also well & truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for Collection and shall well & truly pay all sums of money received by him agreeably to an Act of the General Assembly passed at November Session 1809 entitled "An Act relating to Constables Bonds" and shall well & truly account for all money which he shall receive on Judgments and shall well and truly pay over the same and shall faithfully perform all acts which he shall perform in virtue of his office in the said County in the State of Maryland then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force & virtue Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of Samuel Tall (Seal) John Muir Samuel I. Meekins Roger E. Robson (Seal) Joseph B. Woolford (Seal) I Robert Bell a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County do hereby Certify that John Muir & Samuel I. Meekins this day appeared before me and took the following Oath we John Muir & Samuel I. Meekins subscribing Witnesses to the Within Bond do make Oath that the obligors mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & delivered the said Bond as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.
