The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden John B Dean shall well and truly execute the Office of Constable of Election District N.o 3 in all things appertaining thereto & shall also well & truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of full force & virtue in law. Meekins his Richardson x Gambrell (L S) mark Dorchester County, To wit: On the 20.th day of April 1846 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid John Muir & Samuel I. Meekins and made the following Oath, to wit: "We John Muir & Samuel I. Meekins subscribing witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that John B. Dean, Martin M. Dean & Richardson Gambrell obligors mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & deliver the said Bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. Sworn before me on the day above mentioned Robt Bell J. P. State of M.d Be it remembered that the following Bond was recorded from Ex.d on the 20.th day of April 1846, To wit: W.m R. Tall Know all men by these presents that we William R. Tall, Constable W.m W. Jones and James Smith of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland ar held & firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents.
