343. firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 20.th day of April 1846. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden Josiah Layton shall well and truly execute the Office of Constable of Vienna in all things appertaining thereto and shall also well and truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of full force and virtue in law Signed, sealed & delivered Josiah Layton (L S) in the presence of John B. Dean (L S) John Muir his Saml I. Meekins Richardson + Gambrell (L S) mark Dorchester County, To wit: On the 20.th day of April 1846 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid John Muir and Samuel I. Meekins and made the following Oath, To wit: "We John Muir and Samuel I. Meekins subscribing Witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that Josiah Layton, John B. Dean and Richardson Gambrell obligors mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence, sign, seal & deliver the said Bond as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. Sworn before me on the day above mentioned Robt Bell J. P. State of M.d Be it remembered that the following Bond was Ex.d from recorded on the 20.th day of April 1846, To wit: William Russell Know all men by these presents that we William Constable Russell, William Frazier and William L. Drura of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly & severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this 20 day of April 1846 The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden William Russell shall well and truly execute the Office of Constable of Election District N.o 1 in all things appertaining thereto and shall also well and truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of full force and virtue in law |
