                                 Dorchester County, To wit:
on the 20 day of April 1846 personally appeared before me the subscriber a
Justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid John Muir and Sam.l
Meekins and made the following Oath, To wit:   We John Muir and Sam.l
I. Meekins subscribing Witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that
William Russell, William Frazier and William L. Drura obligors mentioned
in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & deliver
the said Bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.
Sworn before me on the day above mentioned                  Robt Bell


    State of M.d      Be it remembered that the following Bond was recorded
Ex.d   from            on the 20.th day of April 1846, To wit:
W.m L. Drura        Know all men by these presents that we William L.
    Constable          Drura, Martin M. Dean and John Reed of Dorchester
                             County in the State of Maryland are held & firmly
bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two
thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the
said state or its certain attorney to the which payment well and truly to
be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and Administrators
jointly and severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals and
dated this 20.th day of April 1846.  The Condition of the above obligation
is such that if the above bounden William L. Drura shall well and
truly execute the Office of Constable of Election District N.o one in all
things appertaining thereto and shall also well and truly account for all
moneys placed in his hands for Collection and shall also well and truly pay
all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of
full force and virtue in law.                                          W. L. Drura      (Seal)
