State of M.d                 Be it remembered that the following Bond
Ex.d   from                   was recorded on the 20.th day of April 1846, To wit
George W. Wingate      Know all men by these presents that we George
       Constable              W. Wingate, James Dixon and Thomas Dail
                                     of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland
are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the
full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current Money
of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain
attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and
done we bind ourselves our heirs executors and Administrators
jointly and severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our
seals and dated this 20 day of April 1846.  The Condition
of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden
George W. Wingate shall well and truly execute the Office of
Constable of Cambridge in all things appertaining thereto and
shall also well and truly account for all moneys placed in
his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay
all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be
void otherwise of full force and virtue in law

in the presence of                                    Jas Dixon           (L S)
    John Muir
    Saml I. Meekins                                 Thomas Dail         (L S)

Dorchester County, To wit:  On the 20 day of April 1846
personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace
in and for the County aforesaid John Muir and Samuel I. Meekins
and made the following Oath, to wit:  "We John Muir and Samuel
I. Meekins subscribing Witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath
that George W. Wingate, James Dixon and Thomas Dail obligors
mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign,
seal and deliver the said Bond as their act and deed for the
purposes therein mentioned.  Sworn before me on the day
above mentioned                                          Robt Bell   J. P.


State of M.d           Be it remembered that the following Bond was

David M. Todd      Know all men by these presents that we David M
    Constable           Todd, Francis P. Phelps and Francis I Henry all
                              of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are
held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full & just
sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States
