pounds of Bacon, thirty Barrels of Corn, three thousand pounds of
Corn Blades, one Bed, Bedstead & furniture, Six Chairs and all the
rest and residue of my House hold and kitchen furniture.  To
have and to hold all and singular the goods & chattels above
bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said
Hooper B. Stevens and Martin M. Dean to their executors, administrators
and assigns forever   And I the said George W. Garey for
myself, my heirs, executors and Administrators all and singular the
said goods & chattels unto the said Hooper B. Stevens & Martin M.
Dean, their executors, administrators and assigns against me the said
George W. Garey my executors and administrators and against all &
every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant &
forever defend by these presents.  In Witness whereof I the said George
W. Garey have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this sixth
day of April in the year Eighteen hundred and forty six

Dorchester County, To wit:
Be it remembered that on this sixth day of April in the year Eighteen
hundred and forty six before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of
the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County aforesaid personally
appeared George W. Garey and acknowledged the within instrument of
writing to be his act and deed and the goods & chattels therein mentioned
to be his Act and deed and the goods & chattels therein mentioned
to be the property of Hooper B. Stevens and Martin M. Dean
according to the true intent and meaning of said instrument of
writing.   Acknowledged before me                        John Webb


William Meekins      Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale
Paid   Ex.d   from     was recorded on the 8.th day of April 1846, To Wit:
Robert Meekins       Know all men by these presents that I Robert Meekins
                               of Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and in
consideration of the sum of Fifty two dollars current money to me in
hand paid by William Meekins of the County and state aforesaid at and
before the sealing & delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I
the said Robert meekins do hereby acknowledge, have granted,
bargained & sold and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell
unto the said William Meekins, his Executors, Administrators &
Assigns the following property, To Wit:  To have and to hold the
said sixteen Hogs, seven sheep, one Hiefer, one Ox Cart, and one Bureau
to the said William Meekins, his Executors, Administrators and
Assigns forever   And I the said Robert Meekins for myself,
my heirs, executors and Administrators the aforesaid property to
