335. March Eighteen hundred & forty six Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of Thomas M. Fllint (Seal) Robert Bell Josiah Bayly Jun.r Dorchester County To wit: Be it remembered that on the seventh day of March Eighteen hundred & forty six the above and within named Thomas M. Flint personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for Dorchester County and acknowledged the within and above instrument of writing to be his act and deed. Taken & acknowledged before me Robert Bell State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was Ex.d from recorded on the 9.th day of March 1846, To Wit: William Wingate Know all men by these presents that we William Coroner Wingate, Thomas Breerwood and James Flaharty of Dorchester County are held & firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Three thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney: to the which payment well & truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs executors and Administrators in the whole and for the whole jointly & severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this ninth day of March Anno Domini 1846. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden William Wingate will well & truly execute the office of Coroner in all things thereunto belonging and shall also well and faithfully execute and return all writs or other process to him directed and shall also pay and deliver to the person or persons entitled to receive the same all sums of money, all goods and Chattels by him levied, seized or taken agreeably to the directions of the Writ or other process under which the same shall have been levied, seized or taken; And also shall keep and detain in safe custody all and every person and persons committed to his custody or by him taken in execution or who shall be committed for want of bail without suffering them to escape or depart from his custody and shall also satisfy & pay all Judgments which shall be rendered against him as Coroner; And shall also well & truly execute & perform the several duties required of or imposed upon him by the laws of this state then the above obligation to be void otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue in law.
