293. County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 28.th day of April 1845. The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden Uriah Medford shall well and truly execute the office of Constable of Election District N.o 2 in all things appertaining thereof and shall also well and truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of Money received by him then the obligation to be void; otherwise of full force and virtue in law. Signed, sealed & delivered Uriah Medford (seal) in the presence of John Muir O. P. Hooper (seal) Jn.o Newton Edwin E. Medford (seal) Dorchester County, To wit: On the 28.th day of April 1845 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid John Muir and John Newton and made the following Oath, To wit: We John Muir & John Newton subscribing witnesses to the above Bond do make oath that Uriah Medford, Oliver P. Hooper and Edwin E. Medford obligors mentioned in the said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal and deliver the said Bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. Sworn before me on the day above mentioned. Robt Bell Approved by the Commissioners, April 28.th 1845 Test William Rea Clk C. D. C. State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond was from Ex.d recorded on the 28.th day of April 1845. To wit: Severn S. Dawson Know all men by these presents that we Severn S. Constable Dawson, Daniel Cannon and Martin M. Dean of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney; to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly severally firmly by these presents.
