291 hereunto subscribe my name the day and year above written Nimrod Newton Harriet Webb Be it remembered that the following Bill of from Ex.d Sale was recorded on the 28.th April 1845, To wit: Thomas H. Webb Know all men by these presents that I Thomas H. Webb of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of Sixteen hundred dollars current money to me in hand paid by M.rs Harriet Webb of County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Tho H. Webb do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said M.rs Harriet Webb her executors administrators and assigns all the Goods and Chattels herein after expressed that is to say 1 Negro Man Peter 1 Negro Boy George 1 ditto Robert Negro Woman Hannah Woman Peggy Negro child Bill Negro child Charles Negro child Leah 1 Horse Young Eclipse 3 Gelding Horses 1 Brood Mare 2 Mules 2 Yoke Oxen 17 head Cattle 18 head Sheep 24 Hogs 2 Ox Carts 1 Horse Cart 1 Waggon 2 four wheel Carriages 4 Ploughs 4 Harrows 60 Barrels Corn more or less 5000.ℓℓ Blade fodder more or less; And I the said Thomas H. Webb for myself my heirs and Executors and administrators all and singular do sell and set over the said goods & Chattels unto the said Harriet Webb her executors administrators and against me the said Tho H. Webb my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the tenth day of April 1845. Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of Brannock Moore Tho H Webb (seal) Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: on this tenth day of April 1845 before me one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said County appears Thomas H Webb and acknowledges the within instrument of writing to be his Act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of Assembly in such case made and provided Witness my hand Brannock Moore (J P) Delivered May 3.d 1847 to Tho H.
