of one hundred and fifty dollars current money to me
in hand paid by William H Akers of the county and state
aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivering of these
presents the receipt whereof the said John D Walker
do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
unto the said William H Akers his executors administrators
and assigns all the goods house hold stuff
implements and furniture herein mentioned expressed
and contained in schedule hereunto annexed
that is to say Three beds and furniture six chairs
one clock two horses one yoke of steers one ox cart two
cows and calves twelve head of hogs six sheep twenty
barrels corn more or less all the blade and top fodder
on the premises where I live all and singular which
said goods and chattles are now remaining standing
and living on the premises where I the said John D
Walker now reside to him the said William H Akers
to have and to hold all and singular the said goods
house hold stuff and furniture and all the other articles
heretofore mentioned and other the premises above
bargained and sold or mentioned and intended
so to be to the said William Akers his executors administrators
and assigns for ever and I the said John D
Walker my executors and administrators and against
all and every other person or persons whatsoever
shall and will warrant and forever defend by these
presents of all and singular which said goods household
stuff and furniture and other the premises
I the said John D Walker have put the said William
H Akers in full possession by delivering to him the said
William H Akers One Horse at the sealing and delivering
of these presents in the name of the whole premises
hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and
intended to be so unto him the said William H Akers as
aforesaid in witness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this day of January in the year
of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty three
