269. Bureau, one yellow pine safe & contents, one red pine Table, one blue pine Table, and two Iron pots all which property is now in my possession To have and to hold the same described property above bargained & sold to the said Isaac W. Lowe his executors, administrators & assigns forever to his and their only proper use and benefit And I the said James R. McKeever, for myself, my executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said Isaac W. Lowe, his executors, administrators and assigns the said described property against me, my executors and administrators and against all and every person or persons whomsoever claiming the same on any part thereof. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 30.th day of January 1845. Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of us Jas. R. McKeever (seal) Daniel Cannon W.m H. Cannon State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: On this 30.th day of January 1845 before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said County appears James R. McKeever and acknowledges the within instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided Daniel Cannon James A. Stewart Be it remembered that the following Bill of Ex.d from Sale was recorded on the 18.th day of February John & W.m F. Rudenstein 1845, To wit Know all men by these presents that we John and W.m F. Rudenstein of Dorchester County have for value received, transfered bargained and sold to James A. Stewart of Dorchester County one Apothecary establishment in Cambridge embracing the goods, wares and merchandise, medicines and fixtures of every description To have and to hold all of the said property to the said James A. Stewart and his heirs and assigns forever And it is hereby understood at the same time that the following is the design and object of this Instrument to wit: The said W.m F. Rudenstein has had assigned to James A. Stewart for value received from said Stewart a certain Bill obligatory executed by Thomas O. Martin of Talbot and payable to Miss Ann Goldsborough and by her transfered to Samuel Hambleton Esq of Talbot and by him to s.d Stewart the said Bill dated the 1.st Januy 1844 for Eight hundred and seventy five dollars with interest and in case the said Stewart should not be able to collect the said paper this transfer is to indemnify the said Stewart for any loss in said paper and holds a lien on the said property to meet any loss or deficiency on said paper and any costs or charges insured in the collution of the same and for no other intent or purpose whatever |
