263. of all and singular which said goods. I the said Aaron G. Cook have put the said W.m B. Dail in full possession by delivering to him the said W.m B. Dail one Grea Horse at the sealing and delivery of these presents in the name of the whole property hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto unto him the said W.m B. Dail as aforesaid. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 18 day of January 1845. John G. Abbott Aaron G. Cook (seal) If the said Aaron G. Cook pay unto William B. Dail the sum of ninety four dollars in the Course of Six months from this date with interest thereon this bill of said to be void and of none effect and if not paid to remain in full force and virtue in law. be it remembered that on this 18 day of January 1845 personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for Dorchester County and State of Maryland Aaron G. Cook and Ecknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided. John G. Abbott Alfred Stanley Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale Paid Ex.d from was recorded on the 25.th January 1845, To wit: Eben Stanley Know all men by these presents that I Eben Stanley of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars and twenty five cents current money to me in hand paid by Alfred Stanley of County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Eben Stanley do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained & sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Alfred Stanley, his executors, administrators and assigns all the goods herein after particularly mentioned that is to say two feather Beds, two straw Beds, two Cupboards & contents, one Gig and harness, three head of Sheep, two sows, seven Stool Chairs, four hives and Bees, four Tables, one Loom and gear, three Iron pots, two ploughs and gear, one Ox Cart, one sorrel Colt all and singular which said goods and chattels are now in my possission. To have and to hold all and singular the said goods & chattels and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Alfred Stanley for myself, my heirs, executors & administrators all and singular the said goods and chattels and other the premises unto the said Alfred Stanley, his executors, administrators and assigns against me the said Eben Stanley, his executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
