262. furniture and other the premises unto the said W.m B. Dail, his executors, administrators and assigns against me the said Thomas Wingate, my executors and administrators and assigns all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods, house hold stuff and furniture & other the premises I the said Thomas Wingate have put the said W.m B. Dail in full possession by delivering to him the said W.m B. Dail one black Horse at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended hereby so to be unto the said W.m B. Dail as aforesaid. In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 18 day of January 1845. John G. Abbott Thomas Wingate (seal) State of Maryland, Dorchester County, To wit: Be it remembered that on this 18 day of January 1845 personally appeared Thomas Wingate before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for said County and acknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act & deed according to the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided William B. Dail Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was recorded Ex.d from on the 21.st day of January 1845, To wit: Aaron G. Cook Know all men by these presents that I Aaron G. Cook of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in consideration of ^the sum of^ one hundred and thirty five dollars current money to me in hand paid by W.m B. Dail of Dorchester County in the said State at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Aaron G. Cook do hereby acknowledges, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell unto the said William B. Dail his executors, administrators and assigns mentioned two yoke of Steers four Cows 1 Cart one grea Horse expressed and contained in the seduel hereunto annexed or thus hereinafter pertukuler mentioned that is to say two yoke of Steers four Cows one Cart and one Grea Horse all and singular which said goods and chattels are now remaining standing and being in a certain Message or tenement situate in Dorchester County and now in the ockupation of the said Aaron G. Cook To have and to hold all and singular the said goods and other the above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said W.m B. Dail, his executors, administrators and assigns forever. And I the said Aaron G. Cook for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and other the goods unto the said W.m B. Dail his executors, administrators and assigns against me the said Aaron G. Cook my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. |
