261 hold the said Negro Woman Matilda Thompson for the term aforesaid to the said John Bradshaw, his executors, administrators and assigns and I the said William Harker for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators the said Matilda Thompson for the term aforesaid unto the said John Bradshaw, his executors, administrators and assigns against me the said William Harker, my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall & will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this sixteenth day of January eighteen hundred & forty five. signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of William Harker (seal) A. Be it remembered that on this sixteenth day of January 1845 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said City appears William Harker and John Bradshaw and acknowledges the above instrument of writing to be their act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof. Dail Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale Ex.d from was recorded on the 21.st day of January 1845, To wit: Thomas Wingate Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Wingate of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by W.m B. Dail of Dorchester County in the state at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Thomas Wingate do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said William B. Dail his executors, administrators and assigns all the Goods, Household stuff, implements and furniture pertiklar mentioned and expressed and contained in the schedule hereunto annexed on thus hereinafter pertikuler mentioned that is to say one Iron grey Horse, one black Horse, eight Churs, one paid of And irons & Tongs, one Table, 3 thousand lbs of Bades more or less, part of the Cubord and contents, two Beds, Bedstead & furniture & all the balance of the House hold & kitchen furniture all and singular which said goods and chattels are now remaining standing and being in a certain Message or tenement situate in Dorchester County and now in the ockupation of the said Edward U Cook. To have and to hold all and singular the said goods, household stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said W.m B.
