my execu.rs and adm.rs and against all and every other person or persons
whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of
all and singular which said Goods House hold stuff and furniture and
other the premises I the said Rachel Willey have put the said George T.
and Henry F Willey in full possession by delivering to them the afs.d George
T. and Henry F. Willey one Table spoon at the sealing and delivering of
these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby give and granted
or mentioned or intended so to be unto them the said George T. and Henry
F. Willey as aforesaid  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this 12.th day of December 1844.                      her

State of Maryland  Dorchester County  To wit:  on this 12.th day of
December 1844 personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the
Justices of the Peace of the state of Maryland in and for said county
Rachel Willey and acknowledged the within Bill of Sale to be her act
and deed and delivered the same for the purposes therein mentioned according
to the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided.
Acknowledged before and Certified by                     D. W. Tyler


John Robertson   Be it remembered that the following Manumission was recorded
Ex.d   to              on the 30.th day of December 1844, To wit:
Sundry Negroes   Know all men by these presents that I John Roberson of Dorchester            
                            County in the state of Maryland for divers good causes
and considerations me hereunto moving have released from Slavery, liberated,
manumitted and forever set free and by these presents do liberate from
slavery, manumit and forever set free my negro man Algernon Atkinson aged
about twenty six years to be free immediately from the date hereof.  And
my negro man Henry Holland aged about forty years to be free on the
twenty fifth day of December Eighteen hundred and forty five hereby acknowledging
the said Algernon Atkinson to be free immediately and the
said Henry Holland on the said twenty fifth day of December eighteen
hundred and forty five.   In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this 30.th day of December Anno Domini 1844.
Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of
Charles Corkran   Thomas H. Hooper               John Roberson      (seal)

Maryland Dorchester County To wit:  on this 30.th day of December Anno Domini 1844
