255. and forty five to serve untill the twenty fifth day of December in the year eighteen hundred and Sixty three he being now sound healthy & strong and each ableled bodyed Negroes And by these presents hereby liberate & set free from and after the dates aforesaid my two negroes above named Minty Dickinson and John Dickinson being of the ages aforesaid I do declare that from and after the expiration of the aforesaid time to e free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or services to me my heirs executors administrators or assigns for ever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 25.th day of December in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred and forty four signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of us Ann Priscilla Smith Vanes (seal) Charles Corkran John Parvin Dorchester County, To wit: Be it remembered that on this 25.th day of December in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred and forty four personally appeared the party to the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the state of Maryland in and for the said County and acknowledged the same to be her Act and deed for the purposes therein named Taken and acknowledged before Charles Corkran George & Henry Willey Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale Ex.d from was recorded on the 26.th day of December 1844, To wit: Rachel Willey Know all men by these presents that I Rachel Willey of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in consideration of the Natural love and affection which I have and owe unto my two children one named George Thomas Willey the other Henry Fitzs Borough Willey of the County and state aforesaid I the said Rachel Willey do by these presents do give and grant unto my two sons George T Willey and Henry F Willey them their Exec.rs adm.rs or assigns the following named property goods and Chattels, to wit: three work Steers three Cows and one Ox Cart Eleven head of Hogs two Beds Bedsteads and furniture Six windsor Chairs two Tables one hands mill one plough one Trunk and all the residue of my house hold furniture all and singular which said goods and chattels are now remaining and being on a certain messuage or tenement situate in Lakes district Dorchester County and now in the occupation of the said Rachell Willey To have and to hold all and singular the said Goods and chattels House hold stuff and furniture and other premises above given and granted or mentioned and intended so to be to the said George T. Willey and Henry F. Willey them their heirs Exe.rs adm.rs or assigns forever And I the said Rachel Willey for myself my heirs Exe.rs and adm.rs all and singular the said Goods House hold stuff and furniture and other the premises unto the said George T & Henry F Willey them their Ex.rs adm.rs and assigns against me the said Rachel Willey |
