doth acknowledge the said indenture or instrument of writing to be
his act and deed In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed
my name on the day and year aforesaid

W.V.M. Edmondson      Be it remembered that the following bill of sale
Ex.d         from               was recorded on the 9 Jany anno domini 1843
Wm Collins                     to wit      Know all men by these that I William
Collins of Dorchester County state of maryland for and in consideration
of the sum of forty dollars dollars ad five cents now justly
due unto WVM Edmondson of the county and state aforesaid at or
before the sealing and delivering of these presents the justicess of which
indebtedness I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do hereby grant bargain and sell
unto the said WVM Edmondson his executors administrators
and assigns all the goods and chattels and property and other
the premises particularly mentioned expressed and contained
in the schedule hereunto annexed that is to say One yoke oxen,
one ox Cart one plough fourteen sheep one Sow One pen knife
all and singular which said goods chattels and property and
other the premises are now remaining standing and being in
a certain Messuage or tenement on Cabbin Creek (except five
sheep now at W Hardings) occupied by Sd Collins in the county and
state aforesaid To have and to hold all and singular the goods
chattels and property and other the premises above bargained
and sold or mentioned or intended so to be to the said WVM Edmondson
his executors administrators and assigns forever and
I the said William Collins for my self my heirs executors and
administrators all and singular the said goods chattles
and property and other the premises unto the said WVM Edmondson
his executors administrators and assigns against me
the said William Collins my Executors and administrators
shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents
of all and singular said goods and chattels and property
and other the premises I the said William Collins have
put the said WVM Edmondson in full possession by delivering
to him the said WVM Edmondson one pen knife at the sealing
and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises
hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended or
so to be unto him the said WVM Edmondson as aforesaid I witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
third day of January 1843
